All Ages offers a unique experience where campers spend the week in multi-age cabins and family groups while also having time with kids in their age group.

This camp embraces the gifts each person brings regardless of age & actively teaching Christian values in a family setting. The philosophy of the the camp is built on mutual respect - Respect for God, others, the world & our homes, and ourselves.

At the heart of the camp is the growth of a personal faith in Christ, practiced in community.

Just You & Me, Kid is the perfect starter camp for young campers who are new to staying away from home prepping them for overnight camps on their own.

Activities are geared towards campers and their significant adult. These include Bible study, crafts, games, and fellowship, bringing campers closer to each other and God!

Creative Spirit is a theater camp in which the campers will audition, be casted in rolls, practice and perform the show on Friday night!

It is an amazing week of songs, lines, friends, and sharing the gifts God has given us.

Faith Journeys is all about community. We celebrate how God made us and help each person grow into the incredible person God created us to be.

We do service projects, play games, low ropes, have big & little buddies, and eat & worship together. Each age group leads worship in rituals Jesus taught: remembering your baptism, anointing & healing, and foot washing.

College Hall is a beautiful 5 story building built in 1865 and is the original home of Union Christian College. Today it houses a variety of meeting spaces, large group spaces, and living spaces, as well as a few special spots!

Grisso

Located on the first floor, Grisso is an open meeting space perfect for team building and get-togethers.

Fireside

Located on the first floor, Fireside is a cozy meeting room with a fireplace, great for medium groups and activities!

Rec Room

Located on the first floor in the elevator room, the Rec Room is a great hang out spot for indoor small group games like pingpong, foosball, and darts!

Holt Library

Sharing the second floor with the bedrooms, Holt Library is an excellent place for business meetings and medium sized groups. Because of its proximity to the second floor bedrooms it's the perfect central meeting spot for team building weekends!

Auditorium

Our third floor is primarily home to our auditorium. With plenty of seating, this room is great for a movie night, show, or lecture!

Our stage spans from wall to wall at the front of the auditorium with the option of adding extensions and a ramp to the front. The stage is home to the Backstage Pass & Creative Spirit summer camps' show!

Historic Library

Originally used as a classroom in the old college, this room remain virtually untouched with much of the original furniture and books remaining. The room is set up as the original classroom was, so give it a visit and step back in time!

One of the 9 bedrooms on the fourth floor featuring 4 bunk beds, one single bed, and a wash station.

5th Floor

The historic 5th floor is a beautiful glimpse into the architecture of the building and home to the iconic spiral staircase that's original to College Hall. If you're brave enough to climb them, they'll take you up to the cupola where you will get an immaculate view of the area!

After walking up the historic spiral staircase you are let out onto a panoramic deck with a view of Merom, the Wabash River, and into Illinois.

What should I/my camper pack?

Packing varies from camp to camp so check their registration form for more specific instructions. Otherwise, bring the basics: toiletries, bedding (to fit a twin size), any medication (in its original packaging), and a pair of closed toe shoes!Please DO NOT bring any kind of alcohol or drugs (including e-cigarettes and tobacco products), fireworks, or weapons.

What if I/my camper has food allergies or special dietary needs?

MCRC strives to meet the dietary needs of each person, whether it be a vegan/vegetarian diet, food sensitivities, or food allergies. When registering yourself/your camper, please be sure to list any food restrictions. This will allow our staff to properly prepare for you/your camper's meals during your time at MCRC.‍

*If your child has any other allergies, those can also be listed on our health form.‍

Can campers use their cell phones while they’re at camp?

Each camp has their own cell phone policy. Please contact your child's camp director for more information. If you would like your camper to call you while they're at camp, communicate that with the appropriate camp director.

Can I send care packages or emails to my camper?

Yes! Please mail your care packages to your camper at our mailing address in plenty of time to arrive while your child is at camp. We ask that you not send your camper drinks or snacks.

What type of training do the counselors receive?

We ask that all of our volunteers for summer camps and retreats undergo a background check and adhere to the Safe Camp Policy, which you can read for yourself here.
